AddToDeliver helps to setup your online store and get orders online

You can publish your online store as quick as never before. Smart inventory helps to manage your online store and point of sale with single place of inventory management.

Signup with smart inventory management

To manage your inventory and the online store, you have to create an account with smart inventory management. Signup with valid email address and a password. Click here to signup with smart inventory management.

Since all the notification emails from the application uses the account email address, please make sure the email address is valid.

How it works

1. Register with Smart Inventory and setup the online store.

2. Let us know you preferred sub domain name or if you already have web site, setup a sub domain for the online store.

3. All done, your online store is ready.

Setup online store

To up and run with the online store you need to setup the basic store information as below:

Login to the web portal and click on the eCommerce setup to navigate to the store setup screen

On the setup screen, there are 3 steps of setup process.

Step 1 : Setup store details

These are the basic store information.

Please fill in all the details below and click Save

  • Short overview : Short description about your online store.
  • About Us : About us page for the online store.
  • Delivery Information : Delivery information for the online customers.
  • Terms & Conditions : Terms and conditions for the usage of the online store.
  • Social Media : Social media pages for the store.
  • Opening Hours : Store opening hours for the customers to contact you.

Step 2 : Setup top banner

The sliding banners display on top of the home screen. You can have maximum of 3 banner images for the store. The banners have start and end date to display on the online store. Which helps you to setup the banner for the upcoming promotion or for any future events.

Please fill in all the details below and click Save

  • Title:Name of the banner.
  • Start date: date when the banner will be displayed on the online store.
  • End date: dete until when the banner will be displayed on the online store.
  • Linked product: Product detail page to navigate when click on the banner.
  • IsActive: Hide the banner from the online store.
  • Banner image: Image for the banner. The banner image should be "1920 x 1080" pixels to fit nicely on the banner.

Step 3 : Setup top category

If you would like to display any product category on the home page of the online store, please setup it here. Only one top category section will display on the home screen.

Please fill in all the details below and click Save

  • Title: Title of the top category section. Please make sure it should be few words only.
  • Short description: Couple of lines of information about the top category.
  • Button text: Text to display on the clickable button on the top category section.
  • Start date: date when the top category will be displayed on the online store.
  • End date: dete until when the top category will be displayed on the online store.
  • Linked category: Product category page to navigate when click on the button in the top category banner.
  • IsActive: Hide the banner from the online store.
  • Banner image: Image to display on the top category section. The image should be "300 x 180" pixels to fit nicely on the section.

Step 4 : Setup fees

Setup shipping fee and online order handling fee

Navigate to Settings (home screen) -> eCommerce

  • Shipping fee: Fixed amount for shipping fee.
  • Online order handling fee type: Set if it is percentage of total amount or a fixed amount.
  • Online order handling value: Set the value for the percentage or amount.

2. Setup product information

To setup online store products, navigate to "Inventory" setup.

Basic inventory setup is coverd in the Smart inventory steup guide. Click here to view inventory setup.

Add new product or select an existing product to setup the online store specific details.

Please fill in all the details below and click Save eCommerce detail

  • Include product in eCommerce site: enable this to display the product in the online store.
  • Upload product images: Upload product images. The image size should have same height and width (preferred size should be "250 x 250" pixels) to fit nicely on the section.
  • Is featured product: If it is enabled, the product will be displayed under Featured section on the home screen.
  • Product tag: tags to display beside the product. Possible values are "Hot" and "New". In addtition to these tags, if the product has sale price then "Sale" tag will be added automatically.
  • Sale price: Product sale price.
  • Sale start date: date when the sale starts.
  • Sale end date: date until when the product price should be in sale.
  • Product description: product detail description to display on product detail page.
  • Product specification: product specification to display on product detail page.
  • Choose related product: You can either allow to select releated product randomly from the selected product category or choose products from the list.

3. Manage online orders

To manage online orders, navigate to "Online order"

You can filter the orders by date range, or by order number. To include the completed orders, tick the option "Include completed orders".

Online order has below statuses:

  • Pending: order was submitted by the online customer.
  • Accepted: online order was accepted by the store.
  • Declined: online order was declined by the store.
  • OutForDelivery: online order was packed and sent to the customer.
  • Delivered: online order was delivered to the customer and payment collected.

When the online order status was changed, customer will get an email notification. Registered customers can login to the online store to track their order.

Payment screen will popup to capture the payment details when the order was set as delivered.

When the order was set as OutForDelivery, inventory on hand will be adjusted based on the order quantity.
